Our students recently swapped the classroom for an active construction site visit, diving deep into the fundamentals of building structures. Observing real-world structural elements firsthand gave them a clearer, practical understanding of structural integrity and spatial planning for their future projects.

Moving beyond the studio walls, our students had the wonderful opportunity to take their classes outside to Penang's scenic Youth Park. Surrounded by lush greenery, local wildlife, and natural light, our young creatives spent the day observing the organic landscape and capturing the vibrant environment in their sketchbooks.

Our Interior Design students received thier MIID Student Membership Certificates! This allows out students to further venture into the industry with the recognition of Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID).

Our students visited the Wufutang Art Exhibition at Wufutang Guangzhou Fu Guild Hall to explore a diverse collection of artworks and gain insights into artistic expression and cultural heritage. The visit provided an enriching experience, inspiring creativity and appreciation for the arts among participants.

The Graphics Design Club organized an ice-breaking activity to welcome members and encourage interaction among students. Through fun and engaging games, participants had the opportunity to get to know one another, build connections, and foster a friendly and collaborative club environment.

Our students recently stepped off-campus to visit Hin Bus Depot's milestone exhibition, Art Is Still Rubbish: A Decade of Hin. From exploring innovative trash-to-treasure installations to studying contemporary curation, it was an eye-opening day of learning outside the classroom.

Our institution had the ultimate privilege of hosting a royal visit, offering our distinguished guests a deep dive into Equator College’s historical roots, our architectural landmark building, and our industry-driven academic programs. It was a milestone event that celebrated our long-standing dedication to art and design education.
