Programme Overview
Diploma in Graphic Intermedia Design bridges traditional visual art with interactive media, motion graphics, and virtual environments. Engineered for forward-thinking visual storytellers and digital creators, our curriculum integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) directly into studio coursework.
In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, static design is only the starting point. Our programme bridges traditional graphic design with interactive media, motion graphics, and virtual environments, now fully enhanced with Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration to give you a definitive edge in the creative marketplace.

Malaysian Students
- Pass SPM / UEC / IGCSE / ‘O’ level with 3 credits including Mathematics; OR
- Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 and SPM (1 credit); OR
- Any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government.
International Students
International students can refer to the International Qualification Equivalency for International Students to Enter Higher Learning Institutions website prescribed by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) to ensure that the qualification is comparable to the entry requirements set by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.
*Note: All candidates are subject to pass a drawing test / portfolio assessment conducted by Equator College to determine their suitability for the course. Applicants are also required to demonstrate proficiency in English, a pass in SPM / IGCSE / O-Levels English or have studied subjects that require a satisfactory level in English. All design students are required to have a laptop by the start of Semester 2 in their studies.
